Review on πŸ”† EShine 20 Inch LED Dimmable Under Cabinet Lighting - Hand Wave Activated, Touchless Dimming Control - Cool White 6000K by Benjamin Glasper

Great customer service, bright light.

I ordered a 40" light fixture and a 20" light fixture for use under cabinets above my desk in my art studio. Bright white lights are really nice and give a lot of light. It turned into a real adventure. I don't usually write reviews, but I always find them helpful. In this case, I thought my experience might be useful to others. After receiving the mounts, the 20 inch mount worked great. Excellent dimming control and it kept burning. Unfortunately, the 40-inch light repeatedly went out and didn't stay on for more than three seconds. . I contacted EShine and explained that the sensor must be defective. Amelia was very accommodating and sent a new lamp right away! A few days later I received a new 40" light and had to remove the broken one. FYI If you are still unsure of correct placement DO NOT install the screw caps. They cannot be removed and there is no screw Accessories included. I ended up using a drill to pierce it and pull it out. Luckily the new 40" flashlight worked great! I only used the 20" flashlight for a few days (max maybe 5 days). It started making a very annoying hum/buzz that was very high pitched. I tried connecting my new 40" flashlight to the 20" flashlight using the cable that was received and the hum got louder. I was pleased waiting to connect my two lights together so they could turn on/off and dim at the same time so of course it was disappointing.I contacted EShine again and Amelia came to the rescue again. She did immediately sent a new 20" lantern which I received today. So I tried again to connect the two lights together. This made the 20-inch hum (albeit quieter than the previous one). I then hooked up the 20" to its own power supply and it works fine. Only problem is I now have cables all over the table so I ordered a paintable cable management kit to try and disguise them. Lessons Learned: Be very careful with tiny screws as they break easily Pre-drilling holes definitely helps DO NOT fit the caps until you are sure the light is installed in its final position :) Also, the Light strips metal on one side, so if you mount it with the metal side facing you, the light will shine in the opposite direction, if you mount it with the metal side facing away from the wall (and you plan to sit at a table) that will shine Light straight into your eyes This is a problem if you want to connect lights with a cord as you have to connect opposite ends This means that a light source is in di e must be directed in the opposite direction than the other. Thus, the lights shine in different directions. I'm an artist and I notice details like this so it bothered me because I could see the difference in the way the light hits. In any case, I set the lights to point in the same direction, which meant they each needed their own power source (which would stop buzzing anyway). If they ever stop working I'll probably look for other options to replace them. . However, I'm happy to report that EShine fully supports their products and made sure I have working headlights. So I'm impressed with the company and just hope these lights last a while. They definitely throw a nice bright light which I need at my sewing machine and Silhouette work station.
