I normally wear 7.5-8 in most brands and originally ordered a 7.5 in these based on other reviews. Tried on with medium weight socks and they seemed a little large compared to other 7.5 boots I own. Width wise, this was great as my feet are slightly wide, but I'd prefer a snugger fit length wise. Because of this, I ordered the size 7 to compare - it was perfect length wise but too tight width wise. Ended up returning the 7 and keeping the 7.5 as I can easily double up socks or wear thicker ones. The rubber sole on these make them a keeper as most affordable similar boots are slick bottomed. They have side zipper on the inside but I was able to pull them on/off without bothering with it so they have calf room and will be perfect for pairing with legging/skinny jeans. To sum it up - IF YOU HAVE A STANDARD WIDTH FOOT, SIZE DOWN HALF A SIZE.
