I found this product useless considering how difficult it was to use and how long it took to knock out the flakes. You can only punch once because the die is pretty flimsy and the excess paper gets stuck in the flake details and you spend more time removing the excess paper from the die than making snowflakes. If you need to make a lot of snowflakes, this solution is not for you. If you're only making a few for a scrapbook, this will work just fine. Luckily I was able to use another heavy duty cutter to finish my snowflake project, but by that time I had already purchased this die and expedited shipping and was almost under $40 left. Make sure you know what you are getting when you buy this and you will be fine.
