Review on 🔒 Dritz Heavy Duty Black Snaps 5/8 inch by Karla Richter

My lovely winter coat had a broken zipper so I decided to buy these buttons instead of replacing the coat. Be sure to purchase the installation tool separately. They are not easy to insert. I used a combination of the included instructions (using pliers, not snaps) and the Revain video to figure it out. Thought I'd gotten over that but still misplaced 2 latches - simply because some of the components look very similar. It's really hard to get them out. And the parts you installed incorrectly cannot be reused, so I had to order more fasteners. Finally finished. Not all shots work easily - some are fine, others are very difficult to make. I think I easily spent 2 hours installing 7 snaps. If I had to do it all over again, I think I'd just buy a new coat! After wearing the coat several times, my rating would drop to 2 stars. Latches just don't "click" easily. This is frustrating as I have to protect all the buttons from the cold. I would never take on this project again if I knew what I'm doing now.
