The SW65D fills the niche of powered subwoofers under $100. Works well with my cheap Pyle receiver which has a stereo RCA subwoofer output (left/right) and a separate subwoofer volume control. So in combination with the volume and line pass controls on this Bestisan SW65D subwoofer I can really fine tune the bass. One reviewer said it wouldn't turn on - wonder if they pressed the selector to set the correct input. That wasn't intuitive to me either. I hope you understood. Another person said "It has RCA jacks and the receivers have speaker wire". Well yes, because if you don't have a receiver with a dedicated subwoofer RCA output, you'll need to use the subwoofer's RCA connector to open the cable (or just cut the end of the stereo RCA cable) and connect the Subwoofer directly to the left/right speaker in parallel with conventional speakers. It doesn't hurt The color suits me with this product.
