Not sure if we got the lemon but since we first bought it the cord seems to be defective. Despite being perfectly plugged into a good outlet, the hair dryer turns off and when I adjust the cord it turns on again. Threes and I are writing a review because last night I was about to unplug my hair dryer and heard a popping noise and then looking at the plug saw that some of the plastic had melted. So not sure if the hair dryer is shorted or something like that. When I turn it back on, it still comes on. But I will buy a new one because I don't want to start a fire in my house with a broken cord and plug.
