I bought it to back up pictures, songs, etc. from my MAC computer. It arrived earlier than expected. I like it because it's compact and easy to use. I like that the connection cable is tucked away on the device itself. It's lightweight and fits in the palm of my hand. I took the green one so it can be seen better in the mess in the drawer. It has rubber strips on the back to keep it from sliding around the table when transferring files. It is waterproof and you need to open the silicone cover to insert the connection cable. I made my first broadcast with over 5,000 songs and 5,000 pictures. It only lasted a few minutes. This is a 2TB external hard drive with no moving parts. It's like using a flash drive. It's so easy to drag and drop files onto it. It will take me forever to fill 2TB. This is the best external hard drive I've ever owned. I don't have to look for a power cable to use it and then plug in a data cable. It's so easy to use and small enough that you can take it anywhere and transfer data to it. If you are looking for a compact external hard drive, this is the one for you. It's waterproof, scratchproof, shockproof so I don't have to panic if one of my grandkids picks it up. This is a good price for the amount of storage and protection you get with a case. jw
