These are the best glue on nails if you want dainty French lacquer nails. The white tips are pearly white instead of the blinding white of other brands. Still whiter than my real nails and the white tips don't chip at all. The color of the nail bed is a natural beige-pink. The medium-short length is perfect for sportswear or workwear and can be cropped or shaped if desired. I've been wearing the kit for about 2 weeks which really pushes it. I work a lot with my hands throughout the day and after about 1-1/2 weeks I inevitably start chipping my nails. But I re-stick the nail or stick a new one and stretch the set 2 weeks. Although at this point there is an uncomfortable gap between the artificial nail and my cuticles. 0-X My nails are deformed from decades of chewing (since I was a child) and I decided to put on a sticker hoping to change the shape of my nails. I wore them for 6 months straight and yes they helped me reshape my nails. My nails no longer stretch and have wavy tips, and the nail lengthens "quickly" (my nails used to not separate that far from the cuticle from the bed). Before I glue each nail, I roll them between my fingers to enlarge the "C" shape, which then firmly forms my nail into a more attractive shape. In fact, I've found that if I "pre-curve" my nails at least a week before putting them on, they become stiffer in that curve and work better to exercise my nails. After NOT wearing artificial nails for 6 months, my nails showed signs of returning to their old deformed shape, so I wear these nails for another 6 months. An unexpected plus - wearing these nails non-stop completely turned me off the habit of biting my nails. Wow. Note that wearing these nails has also improved the health of my cuticles (they don't flake or crack). But if you wear them for so long, then I expect damage to the nail surface. When nails are broken or removed, the surface of the nail can suffer. So when I took these nails off I had to be very careful about applying nail polish so they didn't come off until they were fully grown. Removing nails is a pain. That's why I only do it every two weeks. I file generously over the entire surface, then soak a cotton swab in nail polish remover and then apply a foil sheet over the nail. I have to leave them on for over an hour to coax each nail without cracking or popping the false nail or damaging my own nail surface.
