Review on 💡 Lithonia Lighting Dimmable LED Square Flush Mount FMLSDL 20 - 4000 Lumens, 44W, 120V, Damp Listed - White by Andrea Sciuto

I bought two of these to put in my garage but was concerned they might be too bright and I would need to add a dimmer for normal use. NOT THE CASE! I originally had two 15W LED bulbs with 1300 lumens each, so a total of 30W and 2600 lumens. You would think they would be noticeably brighter, but they aren't. It's hard to say but overall I think the light is LESS than what I had. Although they are more scattered. Now I may have to add two more identical ones on the other side of the garage to get enough light, making this solution more expensive than I was hoping. I've added some photos to show some installation issues. Since they are square, the orientation of the screws is important so the bracket doesn't look crooked when you're done. They have a swivel mount for this, but that also makes cable management difficult as the holes get really small. The base is also quite flimsy, so the entire fixture doesn't mount directly to the ceiling. Maybe you could add a few more screws with drywall anchors to hold it in place if that bothers you. We connect the wiring.
