The mouse itself works and feels great, but the dongle is the worst I've encountered in 24 years of USB history (USB was introduced in 1996). The wrench head/handle does not pull out easily. I plugged it directly into the computer and it was very difficult to grab and pull out, but I pulled it out after a bit of fiddling. I then connected it to a USB extension adapter, of which I have used over 100 adapters of the same model in the field to connect USB devices with no complaints. With a USB port so easily accessible I had to use pliers and even with pliers it was almost impossible to get out. The dongle's head was ripped off so it can no longer be pulled out. See photos. I bought 3 of these (so an additional new key shown in the picture) to use for deploying to clients. Guess what. No one gets out because of the key. Such a shame that a totally cheap trashy finish on an otherwise good product ruins it like that. It's a shame for the product testers that they didn't notice.
