I got these to replace the foam padding in my Alpinestars T-GP Plus R Air motorcycle jacket and as expected it went straight into the back jackets. Pocket. It circulates air just as efficiently as my jacket. So when I'm not wearing my jacket or standing at a traffic light for a long time, I don't even notice the presence of this back protector. This is thick rubber. , so it might not be the best protective gear in that regard. I think it's a great compromise if you want a cool (temperature) setup that offers extra back protection. I'm very happy with it and while thankfully I didn't have to test the profile's capabilities in a crash, if I crash while riding it makes me feel better knowing I have it.
