Overall I like this mount. I use this for the Samsung Infuse, which is a fairly large phone at 5 inches long and 2.6 inches wide. Since the top of the mount is open, the length doesn't matter. The width goes up to around 4 inches, which is more than enough for any phone. A push of a button on the side of the mount releases the padded temples to their full width. From there, push the arms back and they will "click" as they snap onto your phone. For a secure fit, make sure you squeeze them firmly so the foam actually sinks into the phone. The suction cup really shines I attached the suction cup directly to the windshield, although there's a self-adhesive plastic disc you can use if you're in doubt about the flatness of the mounting surface.I've driven around town pretty aggressively with this thing attached to my windshield, and so far it holds securely.The suction cup works very well in my experience.The phone holder is detachable from the mount and can be rotated 360 degrees in the mount.There is a locking nut on the back to keep this rotation in place. So overall this mount does everything it needs to do and I like it, if I had to criticize I'd say it is all a bit dodgy. There are so many settings that it can feel awkward until you set it up the way you want it. It's also a bit larger than we'd like, but that's the price you pay for such a versatile device. In general, this is very good.
