This came with no instructions, and it certainly didn’t look like any were needed, so I put the two separate pieces I received together in what appeared to be the only manner possible. Now they’re stuck together, and it appears I can’t separate them unless I break one. This knuckleheaded configuration has the top piece covering part of one of my car’s cup holders so I can’t fit anything in there any longer. And the opening in the small attached tray on top is too small for a beverage. So the result now I have nothing but a tiny floating tray, maybe three times as large as a deck of cards, with a teeny hole in it, that will run right into the left knee of a passenger—unless I twist it around, cover my car’s only remaining cup holder, and allow it to run into me or the shifter. And not only was I dumb enough to throw away money on this in the first place, but here I am wasting more time writing a bad review. I am writing this to save you some trouble, so I hope I talked you out of this ridiculous piece of junk.
