I have long, semi-curly hair and have been using a straightening iron for as long as I can remember. If you have used it then you know that straightening long hair takes time. Imagine my surprise when I lightly tested this comb, it did a really good job of straightening all my hair. in less than a tenth of the time it would take to use an iron. By light testing I mean literally going through my hair without spending too much time on each comb. First, it heats up to the desired temperature very quickly, literally in seconds. It is significantly heavier than a normal brush, maybe like a normal hair dryer? In my case, it straightens my hair in record time. It may not be as straight or silky as a flat iron, but you can't beat the amount of time I was able to save. I also liked that it heats up to 450 degrees compared to the 350-375 degrees of my other irons. With the 15% coupon offered during this review, I think this one is definitely worth the price. In terms of time savings versus price, yes. I would definitely recommend this, especially for people like me who spend endless amounts of time using a straightener on curly or semi-curly hair!
