I used these to replace a 2 year old black set from other brands that is somewhat similar to these. They wore out after a year. This couple was great. Pros: I was surprised that the laces were fake. You just put shoes on. I like that it doesn't need to be tied or untied. Really comfortable. The insoles have not lost elasticity in the two months I have had them. Deep tread for traction. If only it were oxfords. Cons: I was surprised that the laces are fake. You just put your shoes on. I think these are children's shoes. I'm 79. Maybe I'm going in circles. The deep tread can snag the edges of the carpeted steps (gets old for me to notice).
