I am the most frugal person in the world - after paying over $20 for a pair of socks I had a panic attack with great regret. Boots - I'm a woman so my heel slips and wears my skin down when I wear my worn cheap "$9 3 Pair" socks - I realized I needed an upgrade when I got them, and I was still concerned (because those $20 would have been better if they were magic socks). until I put them on. they are SOOOOO comfortable! They are very thick and durable so if my heel slips they act like a second skin. they are super soft. I put them on for the 4th time this week and despite terrible washer dryers they were still soft. The depreciation has not yet been used up. the pair I ordered fitted perfectly BUT according to the sizing chart I ordered 2 sizes up - I wear size 6 men's shoes (which should be small) but I ordered the larger one (in the care pack I had on the previous use I received a pair of Darntough socks in a small size, they are very tight and uncomfortable so I had the added knowledge to order more) If you buy them (a size or two larger than your shoe size), you will you will NOT regret it !
