Review on Zalman Performa Performance Powerful Included by Stanisaw Lipowski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I am amazed! It was definitely worth the money!

I got it and put it in yesterday; the installation took a considerable amount of time. It took probably more than an hour, considering that the entire computer had to be analyzed and collected. Although the paws that press the cooler down into the bottom plate are depicted as being bent in the instructions, in practice they are even and flex in a spring-like manner. And in a challenging manner. It is tough to put on the screws, and it is fearful that something would burst, but the board did not appear to bend, and I attribute this to the sturdy plate that is located at the back. Simply put, the height of the cooler that was just entered. The processor is a Phemom II X4 965, and the chassis is fairly ancient and not particularly well fitted to the various idiosyncrasies. There was an older refrigerator, but it had heat pipes nonetheless. The temperature ranged from 53 to 55 degrees when the engine was idling. With new fan 32-34. It was easily in the 65-70 range when loaded, but it is currently in the 40-45 area. At the same time, it cannot be heard, whereas all of the other coolers can now be heard. In overall, I am happy with the purchase; in fact, at this point, I do not intend to look elsewhere. It is possible to install a second fan on the radiator in order to facilitate through-flow airflow; however, given the current temperature indicators, this step is not required at this time.

Pros
  • Instructions that are calm, productive, and reasonable, despite being in English. Price is fair (considering my circumstances).
Cons
  • I managed to save a small amount of thermal paste, just enough to smear it. In addition to this, it is difficult to determine what to smear, even with a finger, and it is very thick. Hell fixture. Because I have virtually sealed off one of the memory slots, I am skeptical that even a low-profile module will be able to be installed there.
