This is a HD cable for Xbox 360 without HDMI output. We had an Xbox 360 that went to heaven a few days later. We have Call of Duty Advanced Warfare. After a private funeral my wife went to a local retailer (which may be the devil) that sells refurbished Xbox 360s, she pocketed them while I was at work and shortly after I got a message saying I was looking at the setup should look at because the picture seemed blurry to her. I looked at the installation and found that the cable was supplied by the devil. Mistake. The local dealer just had a standard AV cable. The HDMI cable I used for the old Xbox 360 was on the side. I tried connecting it to the Xbox but there was no HDMI output on the console. I grabbed my trusted Android smartphone and used the full potential of the internet to find this item on Revain Prime at a reasonable price. I took a deep breath and deftly pressed the 1-Click Buy button. The stretch was removed with a knife while waiting for payment confirmation. - Two days later - The cable came in a yellow envelope. It wasn't just an envelope. It was one of those envelopes with bubble wrap inside. One that makes bubble bursting difficult and uninteresting. Inside that envelope was a clear plastic bag containing the cable I ordered. There were no instructions. What should I do? There were literally seven (7) connections that could be made between the Xbox and the TV. Most of them were round, but one was large and shaped like a severed triangle. I started with a large plug. It looked like the large connector on the AV cable that I replaced, although the cable was installed off center compared to the original. I found that just like the original, you can't install it upside down. It just doesn't fit. I squeezed pretty hard, but not hard enough to break it or the console itself. I have some experience with asymmetrical connectors so I decided to reverse it and just plug it the other way. It fits like a glove. I also noticed that there is a switch on the cable that lets you select HD or Standard Definition. As I was sure that I was buying this cable to improve my family's gaming experience, I set it to HD. Next I went to the back of the TV. I used the color coding on the cables to match the color coding on the TV. There were no problems with incorrect cable rotation with these connectors. It turns out there is no up or down. The installation appeared to be complete. I almost laid out the cables behind the TV, leaned back in the gaming chair and just admired the build quality. It was definitely a quality Xbox 360 setup. I hit the power button on the TV. He clicked and after a few seconds the message "No signal" appeared. I nervously pressed the power button on my Xbox 360. The sound of cheap fans and even cheaper optical drives and hard drives filled the room. Then it happened. The screen turned white and the Xbox 360 logo appeared, the image was crystal clear. I don't see any difference between the HDMI out on the old Xbox 360 (RIP, nice console. You left us too soon. You had so much to give) and the component out on this cable. The sound always comes from the weak stereo speakers on the television, so the sound quality also corresponds to a cinch connection and the old HDMI output. My wife and son lived happily ever after after killing imaginary soldiers with imaginary weapons.
