This is a great solution for adding a backup camera to an OEM look Tacoma. The latch is easy to install and the camera offers a clear, wide-angle rear view. You'll need to drill a hole in the tailgate to route the wiring, but if you're willing to do that, it's a great addition. Mine easily connects to an aftermarket head unit (Sony XAV-AX100) and makes backups much safer. I connected a camera to the reversing lights so there is only one camera when the truck is reversing. I'm considering reconnecting the trailer wiring harness to get a constant power supply as sometimes it would be nice to have the camera on when not reversing. Overall, I would happily buy this item again.
