I bought this 8245 long before 8246 was available and now I see that 8245 requires an additional fee to unlock 2017-2019. but 8246 is more expensive, hmm the difference is the same?. Read that GM charges for unlocking VIN, double hmm. In any case, dial 8246 for 2017-2019. And 2016 and earlier come with 8245 (checked on Diablo website). I have upgraded my tuner several times over the last few years and have never been charged extra, I have an 8245 again so I was interested in upgrading this one. a review so as not to confuse anyone why it used to be possible to use 8245 for 2017-2018.
