A friend of mine recently told me that people only write reviews when they are not happy with something and I had to agree. Now I have to change my tooth. Although I have owned this chopper for several months, I used it for the first time today. It worked great! I easily cut carrots, celery and onions with the smallest blade. What a time saver! And since I don't own a knife, this is my lifesaver. It's heavy and strong enough to get the job done, and the included rubber mat keeps it from sliding around. After I finished slicing I placed all the pieces in the top rack of the dishwasher and that was a bonus. I highly recommend this product, but I would stay away from flimsy, lightweight plastic products. Some things only require a little weight.
