Unreliable - generates low frequency noise when operating and the attached LED lamp does not flicker well

I wanted to use this USB wall adapter to power a desktop LED lamp. When the amount of light is dimmed, noise (low frequency noise) is generated and the light flickers continuously with this surge protection wall outlet. I went back and bought a different brand of USB network adapter (Anker) and all the problems went away. It can be used with cheap devices, but I don't recommend using this wall adapter to charge expensive phones.
