Review on πŸ₯” Tara Toys Mister Potato Head Creativity Kit by Eric Jackson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Daughter loves to mimic the movie with this one! The whale has been updated, there is no plasticine!

Apparently there's an updated version (which I got) and an old version that comes with leg fixing putty instead of the plastic insert you get which was a big complaint before. So just to let everyone know you will be getting a newer plastic! It was really easy to put together, easy enough for my four year old daughter to practically make it herself, we even wrote her name on the bottom like Bonnie did. (Remember she smashed her name on both sticks) We only wrote on one but it's still cute, it was just hard to fit. Basically I wanted to leave a review to give my advice on gluing the legs of the forks onto the faux clay plastic piece. Our daughter wanted to hug him, play with him, just like Bonnie. So the legs kept falling out and ruined the moment so we taped it with Elmer (I told my husband it wouldn't work) and it lasted a day. Then I, a very smart woman, used super glue and it has stayed ever since! The rest of the kit has been updated when someone complained that you should have a green bunny belly pom pom, but it is already colored as can be seen in the photos of the new kit. We actually only made a fork and a piece of paper, we saved the rabbit and duck for another time, so I can't tell you how easy it is, but it looks fun. Daughter definitely loves her fork and it is way better than the cheap kits you will see when looking for a fork kit. Generally ignore the old reviews, they fixed everything from that old kit, they really need to remove the old pics then!
