They didn't work for me, but they're good for accents.
They are very beautiful but not practical. If you are definitely looking for something nice, this is for you. They are nice to wear for looks. If you're looking for something to hold your hair, look elsewhere. After the first use, the pen has already stretched. I think it only lasted my hair for about 30 minutes. I had to go back to the traditional brown or black, big bobby pins for my hair.
