I purchased this cable set because my experience with cheaper items was disappointing in terms of quality control. This one seems to be pretty well made. I use it with a pair of Shure SE425 IEM headphones as well as some FiiO FH5 headphones. The MMCX connectors on the cable fit well and care should be taken when connecting to headphones. The right-angle connector bugs me, but it's minor. I have a FiiO X5III DAP with balanced output. Although some people report a significant improvement in sound quality when using balanced cables, my AB tests are not definitive. However, I am attracted by the theoretical advantages. Let's be clear that the notion that a length of about two feet of cable by itself degrades sound quality is pure nonsense. Using terms like single crystal is a joke. Does anyone know what that means? Charging almost $60 for a short cable is outrageous. But I bought it - why? I wanted a balanced set of cables and this is the price to pay to get a good cable. Cheaper ones have variable build quality. I have one that works fine and several others that I have returned. I have some great FiiO products so I went with this one. So far, so good.
