Unraveled at the seams is good for me
A beautiful dress made of pleasant material but poorly sewn. This is one stitch for the whole dress that ended up not even being knotted. The dress fell apart within half an hour when she wore it to a family party. She was depressed and heartbroken on Christmas Eve. Very upset.
