I like the style, quiet fan, great breeze. I don't like the dimmer. It's not going down enough. Even on the lowest setting it's too bright. I leave it because the fan function is pretty good. I want to connect the lamp to a dimmer. You have the option of only connecting the light to one of the wires in the ceiling socket, not both, so you lose the wall switch's dimming capability. I'd rather have the fan on a switch and the light on a dimmer. You can turn it on or off with just the wall switch and then control the functions with the remote control. Maybe an electrician could rewire everything, but for the average homeowner it could be installed, but not the way I would have liked.
