I have a Bose sound system in my Rogue but the only way to connect a Samsung phone to hear my music is with a 3.5mm Cable. All the cables I've tried give feedback sound from the car's engine. In my case, the installation was very easy. The center console houses a USB port for an iPhone (or flash drive) and a 3.5mm jack. Using a cord on my phone also interferes with this cord in the car. The ihens5 U2 Bluetooth Aux Adapter solved the problems. The only downside is that I can't use the buttons (other than volume) to control my phone, but it's much better than the 3.5mm cables I've used. I don't use this to call functions. My Samsung phone connects to both the car and the optional ihens5 U2 bluetooth adapter.
