I have a large tool bag that I use around the house and when visiting relatives. I always volunteer (or are called in) to do minor family repairs - lubricate hinges, clean and lubricate switches, clean rusted battery contacts, etc. I almost always have to have some type of chemical with me, but I don't want big bottles with all the potions carry around that I use. I toss a handful of these bottles into a plastic bin, which I then put in my tool bag. Now I carry with me: 5w30 motor oil, isopropyl alcohol, mineral spirits, Super Lube non-petroleum oil. I need to add another bottle of contact cleaner and maybe some WD40. I can carry enough of any chemical to do most home repairs in a small, lightweight container in my tool bag. Each chemical comes in a color coded and labeled bottle for easy at-a-glance selection. Also, I never have to worry about aerosol cans that have lost their propellant and stopped working.
