Review on SCICNCE Compatible Computer Midnight Green by Joe Drew

USB stick very slow and unreliable 3

Inexpensive with good storage capacity. When I copied large files in Win10, the average speed was around 12.4 MB/s. When copying small files, speeds ranged from 100K to 6MBps. The ports used were USB 3.1 Gen 1, USB 3.1 Gen 2 and USB Type-C on a Lenovo Thinkstation. The read speed was around 14.5 MB/s. For comparison, I have another 64GB USB3 flash drive that averages 120MB/s read and 25MB/s write when plugged into the same USB3 ports on the same PC. When Windows finished the copying process without any errors, I found that several folders were missing from the destination. The copied size was about 46GB (24,661 files) compared to the original size of 51GB (27,220 files). Copied again, empty folders were copied with zero files in destination folders. Repeated several times when plugging into different USB ports, always missing some random files or folders. This was not visible on the second USB stick used (different brand). When I plugged a flash drive into a USB port, the plug always moved back instead of being a secure insert. When using an adapter to connect to a USB Type-C port, the drive was unstable and fell easily.
