Review on Quick Assembly Outdoor Digital HDTV ATSC TV DTV Antenna for UHF VHF FM by Erica Gutierrez

First off, I've had a realistic omnidirectional antenna installed in my attic for 20 years. It looks like a spaceship. It was showing its age and not getting all the network channels and I really wanted to cut the cable from Direc TV. It was time to replace the antenna so I bought a Lava HD 8008 omnidirectional antenna. Installed and did a channel scan. Every time I ran a scan I got about 22-24 channels without the included amp, once I added the included amp I lost up to 5 channels (very disappointed). I've finished troubleshooting with Lava Techno but NO LUCK. I then created an RMA and sent the antenna back. Then I ordered a small antenna that CAN! 1 word - AMAZING! UHF VHF FM Outdoor Digital HDTV ATSC TV DTV Antenna - Quick Install by ANI-AV, Inc. $38.54 less than half the price of the Lava 8008. THIS THING IS AWESOME! I hooked it up in the attic and ran a scan channel with no preamp, just a coax connection to my TV and WALA, now I get 68 channels! I also draw channels from different directions. This antenna is well built! (thick tube). Connection was very easy and I get all the local mainnet channels in HD - CBS NBC ABC FOX CW (never got them all at once) I connected this to the new HD Home Run Scribe Quatro (setup is easy too), so i can watch all channels on all tvs, tablets and phones at home with a 4 tuner dvr over wifi! Channels rescanned and STILL 68 channels! Hope this helps someone out there. This is a BIG antenna! Highly recommended. I'm 38 miles away from TV stations and again I put it on My Attic 2.5 Stories.
