This review is for the stand I bought for the microscope I already had. The microscope has gone from being a useful but frustrating toy to a truly efficient one. It is much easier to concentrate and look at the object meaningfully. I'm giving 4 stars because the stem was slightly bent on one of the adjustment knobs, but this doesn't affect functionality. At a total investment of around $40 per microscope and base, this is excellent value for money. And it comes with a good case for both to boot.
