There are disadvantages, but the product is usable.
They used bolts with a diameter of 20 mm in the assembly (though I get the impression that they are more commonly 15 mm), but these bolts did not engage the threading. We purchased 40mm bolts from Leroy, and they turned out to be an ideal fit. Weird The chair is fine except from that minor flaw.
