I got them because my bar height is a bit unconventional. I needed adjustable chairs. I wanted the chair to have a back, but I also wanted the chairs to be fairly low and not too bulky. Also, I weigh about 200 pounds so I needed chairs that I could sit comfortably in as some of them are quite cramped and cramped. That ticked all the boxes for me. They meet all these expectations, are easy to assemble and look good.
