My 23 month old loves this toy - it's definitely developing his dexterity! All of the pieces are fairly small, and the wooden board they fit on is small too - just under 12 x 6 inches. So it's a tight range to be able to fit that many parts without crowding out the adjacent ones. Because of this, it can be frustrating for children who don't master the dexterity. The included storage bag is a must as there are many pieces, but I wish they would have spent the extra pennies to allow for an extra inch or two of fabric so the bag would actually cover a 12 inch board!
