Zero Waste Essential Movement

Media could not be loaded. When I found out the washcloth was actually a dried pumpkin, I looked for my own to cut into. For $10 I got a large pumpkin, although it was wrapped in plastic it was a step above buying washcloths made from mixed materials that can't be recycled or composted. I made sure there were no tags/labels/other materials on this product so I can compost it when I'm done. I have sliced loofah for many uses. Expands and softens in water - Sponge for dishes: the shape is extremely ergonomic and comfortable in my hands. I prefer using it to wash dishes than any other sponge I've bought in my life. Also works on carbon steel pans. Best of all, microplastics don't end up in the drain. Shower: I put on a hemp rope and it foams. Feels so good on my body especially on my dry skin. It's fascinating to see that shape is the true origin of the traditional plastic washcloth I used as a kid. Mine had some black "dirty" bits that looked like dried parts of a vegetable. It's a natural product so I don't mind - Cat toy: I throw it in a box of catnip and it freaks out because it can stick its claws in it.
