Compared to the first design which was much thicker, eliminated all odors but sometimes choked on side jobs, it was also cheaper and lasted more than 12 years. The newer version is cheaply made, much thinner due to the fabric material they used first; and odors can still be smelled, but they're breathable and won't suffocate you on a jog or anything. (For a comfortable fit you want the metal nose piece to extend completely over the nose area with the fans resting on the lips.) I just carved the halo with this mask. I give it 4 stars for breathability and comfort and 1 star for a bit of weed and gas from time to time, but I'm still breathing normally like I've never mowed my yard.
