Review on Fitbit Charge Wireless Activity Wristband: Small Size, Sleek Black Design by Jeff Chisholm

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Possibly the best purchase I've ever made.

Pros: Incentive: I was obsessed with checking accuracy at first, but I quickly realized that while it's fairly accurate, the real benefit is the incentive that it gives me After a fairly sedentary few years since buying my Fitbit, I've rediscovered county, state and national parks and trails I haven't walked in years, as well as found many new trails and wilderness areas. I'm going camping in Kauai this spring. Physical Therapy: After an injury that left me on my back for a week, I used my Fitbit to track my recovery after walking a few steps around the house each day until I was at least 10,000 steps behind. Medical Alert: Being retired and living alone, I've been checking on my daughter every day. When I got the Fitbit, I "added" her as a friend and told her that if she saw I hadn't moved in 24 hours she might assume I was dead. Bragging Rights: I love it to show off my Fitbit badges to my less-active friends. Excellent Customer Service: When my charge indicated that I climbed multiple flights of stairs during a 6 hour trip, I contacted Fitbit to ask how I could fix this as I didn't want to be credited for anything I hadn't done. earned. They reacted immediately and suggested that it could be caused by frequent gear changes or bumpy roads. When I suggested driving an automatic and managed to avoid most of the potholes on the freeway, they sent me a replacement for my Charge, even though I didn't even ask for it. This kind of customer service couldn't be better. Cons: The wrist strap is uncomfortable and unattractive. I have a small wrist and the strap extends well past the edges of my wrist when I press front and back as the device is so long that the strap doesn't adjust to my wrist. He's also sweating under the tape. While the Flex has wristbands, which would be more convenient, I'd like to be able to see my activity on the device like you can with a charger. Your legs hurt or you are hot or you are tired, it becomes easier and you start to enjoy it. Whenever I really don't feel like moving, I pretend I can't walk, stuck in front of a TV without a remote control, showing an endless stream of debates and advertisements from presidential candidates. Always gets me moving. Although Revain states that I bought a large strap, I actually bought a small one and wear it in the tightest of conditions.
