Maintains carbonation & temperature, plus it’s rugged
A nice upgrade over glass! Kept beer cold after I left it in the back of my truck for a few hours on a summer day, so I imagine it would work even better if I put it in a cooler. I filled it & didn’t open it for over 24 hours and it maintained the seal so still carbonated, which is a problem in glass growlers.
