Review on Segway Ninebot Mini, 700 W, white by Aneta Tkaczyk ᠌

Full compliance with the manufacturer's assurances, high quality.

Segway is excellent, I go to work for the third month 3-4 times a week. The device is suitable if your daily route does not exceed 15-18 kilometers, and also if your city is designed for people, not motorists. Bad roads, curbs and pedestrians randomly moving along the sidewalk will become your problems. However, this also applies to scooters. Pros: Lucky with the breeze, pleasant sensations, hands free. A great way to travel long distances. It is controlled conveniently: quickly accelerates and brakes. Can turn around on the spot. It's great to move through tight streets, between pedestrians and parked cars. It looks, in comparison with scooters, cooler and more futuristic. This is a plus for some, a minus for some, but a person on a Segway on the street attracts the attention of passers-by aged from three to seventy. Has cons: All the main mechanisms work well, but some details spoil the overall impression. For example, when driving, caps constantly creak, and the Segway also leads a little to the side (they say you need to clean the steering column, but I didn’t succeed). But you can live with it, the pleasure of driving compensates for these two points. The main drawback of the Segway is the downside of its technology. The ride on it feels much less stable than on a scooter. There is no steering wheel, there is nothing to hold on to, control of speed and braking, turns, compensation for road imperfections occurs by moving the center of gravity (in fact, by tilting the driver's body in different directions). Therefore, the first few days riding on it is very uncertain: it seems that any hole can throw you off the device. But you quickly get used to it: a week later I was already boldly passing speed bumps, driving at low speed from low curbs, and so on. But still, I think that such a device is not suitable for everyone. The second most important drawback is the impossibility of easy transportation in the event of a battery discharge. It is hard to carry (13 kg), it is inconvenient to roll (the handle is low). Therefore, you need to either calculate the route very competently, or have a charging cord.
