I really like these things. . They're cheap and they work. If they fall on my kid's head they won't kill him (he'll definitely rip the stocking off on Christmas morning). I'd say if you're having trouble, you're probably not placing them correctly on your coat. In terms of durability, they're not as good as a $100 stocking iron set, but they'll do the job. If you like DIY, you could probably do something fun with them to make them a more permanent addition to your jewelry. Just think.
