I was pleasantly surprised by the hairdryer. It's so small it looks like a toy, but powerful. I chose this model primarily because of the included diffuser, which is hard to find for a travel hair dryer. At first glance I was concerned that he wouldn't be able to handle my long, thick, curly hair, but it all worked out perfectly. I use the Deva Curl drying method to get maximum definition and volume (using metal diffuser clips under sections of hair at 30 second intervals etc) and although I had to adjust my strategy a bit when using this mini dryer , I could get it to work. I was careful not to have hair on the air intake as it might snag a bit if I'm not careful. I wouldn't say it's comfortable to use because it's so small, but with a little tweaking it definitely does the job. All in all, this little guy added just 5 minutes to my usual 15 minute drying time. I may have lost some definition (due to the higher temperature and not being able to wrap my hair over the diffuser very well), but I think I gained some volume. A good buy - it will come in handy when traveling.
