We were moving from house to house and instead of buying new furniture we decided to wait until our new house closed to buy new furniture for our little ones . So in the meantime we bought one of these and it worked great as an intermediate bed from her crib. It's low to the ground, durable for the price, and has protective side rails for added security. I was worried it would be very short but our 3 year old who is quite tall can still stretch a few inches. Probably not a bed they can use for long, but a great starter bed!
