I like this thing. I hate hitting wood on the fairway most of the time so I threw the 5w away and put it in my bag. I disagree with the description as I don't think it is forgiving of missteps, especially on the toe. So yes. Don't kick it off your toe and you'll be perfect. However, if you center it, it comes out high and fast. I'm not a heavy puncher and I don't have elite punching speed. I'll pump it in the 85mph range and wear it 210ish. However, this is the only racquet I've ever used to hit the ball so hard it put a hole in the net. After recoiling from a cannonball hitting a wooden fence and changing into fresh shorts, I've never felt so proud of hitting a golf ball.
