I bought this projector to use for outdoor movie nights. I didn't want to spend $500 or more on a projector that my family and I would use once or twice a year when we suddenly had a desire to see a movie with mosquitoes feasting on us. So I went with the $200 option, all I had to do was work and not fret about it. Of course it has all the standard ports, two HDMI ports, a micro SD slot, VGA (old school) and a USB port. You can also stream to it over WiFi, which was my intention. I was able to connect my phone to the projector via Wi-Fi, but the playback quality was so slow that the movie couldn't be viewed. No problem, I just use USB and flash drive. So the instructions don't tell you to format your flash drive or external hard drive to FAT32. The projector won't read anything else, the maximum file size you can transfer to a FAT32 formatted drive is 4GB. The movie I wanted to watch was 5.2GB, so I couldn't fit it onto a flash drive. Now that that didn't work, I'll try the microSD slot. Same story, it can't be formatted as FAT32 on any other system so that's not the case anymore. By now, in 2021, you're probably thinking "Well, just use a DVD player and an HDMI connection". I haven't bought a DVD in about 10 years, I don't even think we have a DVD or CD at home. The last and final option we have is to connect your phone/tablet/laptop directly to the projector via USB. Luckily, after I got the screen mirroring feature working on my phone, we were able to watch a movie via USB. At this point I was sweating, my kids and nephews were learning some new four-letter words, and this projector nearly blew out a nearby window. Once I could get it working it was great. Picture quality is good for a $200 projector, sound quality isn't great, but you can connect it to a Bluetooth speaker. I didn't do it because I didn't want to have fun at a movie night. It's a shame because I really wanted to like this projector, but the fact that I've spent so much time trying to get something so simple to work has me fed up and pissed off. So I returned it. **UPDATE** The company that sells this projector on Revain contacted me a few days after I posted this review and explained how to use it in more detail than the instructions that came with it. They were very apologetic and helpful and offered to send me a new projector for my problems, which they did. Overall I'm happy with my experience and I'm glad there are companies that legitimately endorse the products they sell. I have upgraded my rating from two to five stars because of the customer service I received.
