Watch straps for me usually break where they attach to the watch, which is what happened with the original band. This one will never fail at that point; it's a solid one piece unit! Someday the latch may fail, but it's a double latch, I think it will last a long time. Plus it has a long enough strap that's got room to spare for a big guy like me. Also it will protect the screen much better that the original that didn't protect it at all. Really like it. I would say this is a must have for anyone who works with their hands.
