Review on πŸ‘Ÿ Stylish KEEN Youth Newport Nights Brilliant Boys' Shoes for Effortless Trendy Appeal by Mark Young

Revainrating 3 out of 5

This is one of my favorite toddler boots and always manages to get theirs.

This is my second year buying Keens for my baby. This is one of my favorite shoes for toddlers who always get wet feet in summer but the soles are not strong enough to walk barefoot. So for a small toddler in shoe size 7 I would probably give them 4 stars (colors have faded a bit after a few washes but other than that they looked great). My caveat and the reason the 3 star in review is bordering on 2 star is that the shoes seem to be designed a bit differently when going from toddler sizes (up to 7) to toddler sizes. I really loved that like the adults they have an adjustable bungee which the smaller sizes don't have. Unfortunately, the shoes are too bulky and heavy for my otherwise self-confident boyfriend. He fell on the concrete and broke both his knees from tangling his legs. He's been wearing sneakers or light, low-top boots for a few months, so he hasn't worn slippers until now. Also, he doesn't seem to be able to put these shoes on or off himself, but we'll work on that. I actually bought them locally and got the size so I know the size is ok. I'm trying out Seacamps right now as I still love Keens. Also, I've washed them enough times that they never stink, even though we wore them almost every day last summer.

Pros
  • Best brand of the summer
Cons
  • Sandals may not fit
