Better than expected

I thought these headphones wouldn't work as well as they do. Even out of the box, they felt a little flimsy, like they would break within a week. Honestly I'm pretty tough with the device and so far it has served without any glitches or failures. First let me say that I didn't buy them to play with. I use them for video conferencing via Zoom, Teams and other things. I use it for training webinars and visit Microsoft Ignite with it. I have created my own instructional videos and also listen to music with them. I play a few games with them, but that's not their only function. I would probably look elsewhere for a professional gaming headset, if that is your goal. When you're in the game, you really need surround sound effects and sensitivity that can make all the difference in a tournament. There are 3 things I really like about this headset. First, there's a little indicator on the mic that tells you if it's active or not. This doesn't seem like such a big deal, but it's very important when you're not sure if other people can't hear you because your microphone isn't working, your program/computer is muted, or your speaker is muted. It's just a nice little touch that I found useful. The second thing I like about it is the easily accessible wired volume control. I know it's not the original function, but it's in a convenient place on the cable, and it's not a tiny knob to work on to turn it up or down. It's easy for me to turn the volume up or down and use that instead of the volume controls on my computer. The third thing I like about this headset is that it has a small mute button. Wait a minute! That's not a button, that's a switch. I like that about it. You don't have to press a button to mute or unmute the sound. My last headset had a mute button, and half the time I didn't know if I had muted myself when I pressed it or if I had unmuted myself. With a switch it's just "on" or "off" - no problem. They seem to be doing pretty well in other areas and the wiring seems to be holding up so far. The noise cancellation isn't the best, but it works pretty well. For the price I'd say it's a pretty decent buy. It would be nice if I had more color options,
