This is the first time I've ever owned a real hair brush -ike one with boar and nylon bristles. I had no idea what i was missing out on! Seriously!For a $14 brush set, a think this one is worth every penny. This brush feels more high-end to me! It combs through even very tangled hair with ease and with no pain. This the first time combing my hair doesn't hurt at all. *Actually*, it feels nice! What a wonderful change and well worth $8 right now!I love the beautiful wood frame of the brush! It's really beautiful, but very functional too.It also comes with a nice, recyclable box that would make the comb a nice gift, I'd imagine. In addition, it comes with a nice rats tail comb. Nothing spectacular there but if you're like me, I can always use just another good comb around anyway.I give this brush set an easy 5 out of 5. I am actually enjoying combing my hair. It works great for blow drying, the price is right, it's beautifully designed and made, and it feels really nice going through our hair. Win-win.
