Great Microplane

I bought this rough microplane thinking the thin one I had was TOO good for garlic and ginger. I use it to grate straight into a bowl or pan. I can see the garlic as I walk and I don't have to turn it over and push the semi-liquid liquid off my back. It cleans up quickly and easily. Haven't tried it for grating hard cheese but I think it will do the trick too.
